Have you ever wondered about Animals and Heaven...boy I sure have.I started writing down scriptures several years ago. I have found comfort in these scriptures many times as I have always owned multiple animals and have out lived many. I have used the New International Bible translation to write out the scriptures here. You might find another version of the same scriptures will read just a bit different.

If you find any other scriptures from the Holy Bible, other then I have listed here, please email them to me.

Do Animals Know God?

Job 12: 7-9
"But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds of the air, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you or let the fish of the sea inform you."

Job 12:10BoJangles cowboy closeup.jpg
"In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind."

Let the sea resound, and all that is in it; let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them! Then the trees of the forest will sing, they will sing for joy before the Lord, for he comes to judge the earth.

Do Animals go to heaven?

montanamugsled.jpgEcclesiastes 3:19-21

"Man's fate is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath; man has no advantage over the animal. Everything is meaningless. All go to the same place; all come from dust and to dust all return. Who knows if the spirit of man rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?"

Psalms 36:6
"Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the great deep. O Lord, you preserve both man and beast.

Romans 8:19-21
"The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in the hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God."

Ephesians 1:9-10

And he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times will have reached the fulfillment-to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under on head, ever Christ."

II Kings 2:11 & 12
"As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind. Elisha saw this and cried out 'My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!' And Elisha saw him no more. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them apart.

II Kings 6:17
"And Elisha prayed, 'O Lord open his eyes so he may see.' Then the Lord opened the servant's eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha."

Revelation 19:4
"The twenty-four elders and the foul living creatures fell down and worshiped God, who was seated on the throne. And they cried: 'Amen, Hallelujah!'

sugarnuts 2004-12-02.jpgRevelation 19:11
"I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war."

Revelation 19:14
"The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean."

May it be a long time before I place a donkey photo on this page

I am sorry for the loss of your animal. There will never be another just like it. Even the same animal were cloned will not be the same animal. Why? Because life experiences are what makes each individual who they are. You raised your animal in a house hold or on you farm that has changed since that animal first came to live with you. You are older, maybe someone has moved in our out, or died, or a new baby has come to your home. Any new of other animals you have bought since the, now gone, animal came to your home will change the mix too. So please, do yourself and this new animal a favor and do not try to replace it. If you want another animal, get one. But get another color, maybe a different breed, don't name it the same and by all means, put no expectations on this new animal it can not live up to. It is not fair to it or yourself. You will be setting yourself up for a hurt heart and the animal up for a new home, because it will never measure up. YOU SIMPLY CAN NEVER REPLACE AN ANIMAL OR PERSON. You can replace their spot, but not the animal. The less you expect from a new person in your life and or new animal the more pleased you will be with them/it. I know, you see, I have mourned a dog that I lost 10 years ago, I still get teary eyed when I see an animal perform really well, cause that is how she was. I have many, many animals and several dogs, not one of them will replace that dog. But I except it. I miss her and go on. I was blessed to own such a dog and I know it. And I sure do not expect any other animal to become her.
